Aventurine is a variety of glass made of quartz, which owes its colour and metallic shards to inclusions of fuchsite, when it is red, or hematite, or even mica, which makes it look rather brown-red, we find in the nature of red/brown, blue, green aventurine.

The verrier art appeared in the lagoon of Venice in the Seventh century. In the Thirteenth century, for security reasons, the Republic hereby orders the transfer of all of the ovens of the city in the island of Murano. Thus was born this ancient art, whose secrets are handed down from generation to generation.
